New Spring dress

I was on the way home yesterday from the finals of the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions (audience, not singing in it) when I passed by Anik Basic (72 and Amsterdam), a small chain of stores with twenty to thirty-something women’s apparel.  I rarely go into these kinds of stores because they love to jack up the prices.  But, I was proven wrong yesterday when the big sign outside that said 50% off plus an extra 30% off lured me in.  Check out the Collective Concepts dress I found for $40.

Nice slits in the shoulders to show some skin.

Until it gets warmer, I’ll pair it with opaque black stockings, neutral tan/grey heels, and these chandelier earrings my friend Nicole made.
